A few days ago it was the 40th anniversary celebration of the Building Industry Association of the Balearics. This was a great event that was kept nice and simple and included a proposal for future developments showing the desire to keep on moving forwards, after explaining the great progress that has been made over the course of the 600 years of history of the trade in the Balearics.
The president, Eduardo López, gave an award to the previous presidents of the Association who held the post at various times throughout the last 40 years, thanking them for their work and dedication in their roles.
Many big names in the industry were there, like Francina Armengol, (Presidenta del Govern de les Illes Balears); Carmen Planas, president of the CAEB (Confederación de Asociaciones y Empresas de Baleares); Pedro Fernández, Secretary General of the CNC (Confederación Nacional de la Construcción) and Marc Pons, Conseller de Territori.
We’d like to congratulate Sandra Verger, director, and the whole team. We’re all proud to be part of this Association that works so hard for the common interest of the sector.
Together we are stronger and together we’ll be heard.
