Eduardo Lopez hands over the presidency to Fanny Alba after eight years of service.
Eduardo was pivotal during the financial crisis and played a proactive role in defending the needs of the construction industry. He selflessly fought for everyone and has achieved, together with the entire Association, the three objectives he set for himself: that companies receive the money owed to them by public administrations, professional training for the industry, and a revamped public image and voice, although there is still much work to be done on this last objective.
His departure was marked by the Covid-19 crisis, through which he has fought harder than ever for the industry’s interests, and he leaves with the satisfaction of “mission accomplished”. And while there is still much work to be done, we are confident that our new president, Fanny Alba, will take the reins responsibility and actively.
We wish her the best of luck and all our support for the coming years.
